    Altec 19 xo's....N1201 8A?

I have an opportunity to buy a pair of N1201 8A xo's for my M19's. I understand these are very much like the M19 xo except for the fact they are not labeled as such.
Will these work in my M19's?

The N1201-8A is a Model 19 crossover with different labeling. So yes, it is ideal for Model 19's. I saw the ad too (if it's the one you're referring to)--he's got some nice drivers and cabs including GPA reconed 416's as well but I'm not sure the crossovers would have been ideal for the cabs and horns he's selling.....

Thanks for the info. These should work fine.
Could you point me to the add? I'd like to see those reconed 416's.

Here's the ad I found--not sure if it's the same person you're interested in buying from or not.....

ALTEC A7-500 Voice of the Theater: 416-8A/GPA, 802-8T, 511B Horns

Woofers are "reconed by Midwest Speaker with NEW Great Plains Audio GPA35400 recone kits" (I'm not familiar with the part numbers for their recone kits). Strange he's calling these A7-500 even though they have a 1200 hz crossover! From what I can see in the photos (unfortunately they're taken from too far away), the gear looks to be in good shape but if I was interested of course I'd ask him for some close-up shots(cabs are home-brew copies, not originals)....

Not the same guy but thanks for posting.
I am still sitting on the fence so to speak. The Z19's I built sound great so I am thinking I can afford to wait until I find proper M19 xo's.
